Cube Of Two Digit Number: To find cube of a two digit numberwe can use this method. This is very fast method and saves a lot of time in the various competitive exams where each second counts.
Find Cube of 54 Step 1 : Find the Cube of the number at Units Place. Cube of 4 is 64 The digit at the unit place of the cube is the digit at the unit place in the Answer and the remaining goes to the carry Answer 4 Carry is 6 |  |
Step 2 : Multiply 3 with the number at tens place and then multiply it with the square of the digit at units place. Add the carry (If Any) Result = 3 X 5 X 16 + 6 = 240 + 6 = 246 Now place the units digit of the result at tens position of the answer and the remaining digit will be the carry. Answer: 64 Carry: 24 |  |
Step 3: Multiply 3 with the square of the digit at tens place and then multiply it with the digit at the units place. Add the carry (If any) Result = 3 X 25 X 4 + 24 = 300 + 24 = 324 Now the digit at units place in the result will be the digit at the hundreds place in the answer and the remaining digit will be the carry. Step 4: Find the cube of the digit at the tens place and add the carry (if any) Result : 125 + 32 = 157 Answer : 157464 |  |
